Me and Aya's Watermelon Nails

A few weeks ago, my friend aya, wanted me to make her a watermelon nails. This is a new challenge for me, because not only I had to make a watermelon nails with handmade for the first time, I also had to make it on her nails, not my nails. The first time I polish on people nails..

So later, I accepted the challenge eventhough I was really nervous at that time. Haha.. Of course I watch the tutorial first in youtube then applied it to aya's nails. Mind to check? :)

The line wasn't looks so straight because I just used a toothpick to made it. It wasn't really satisfying for me and Aya her self. But we keep took the pictures.. XD

I run out of red color, so I just use the color that kinda orange. The same color that I used in my ''RIP My Forefinger Nail'' post. Also, we run out of idea to make a good backround. So we just took something randomly to be held and it was a bottle. Lol..

To make it, first I polished the oranges color for a half of her nails. Then I made the white line, then polished the green color for the top. In the end, I made the black dots.. So, how is it? Aya say, ''it looks yummy''. Haha :D

And because I want to make a watermelon too, so yesterday I polish my nails for watermelon theme as well, like Aya's. But this time I already bought the red polish, so I used it to be more similar to a real watermelon. Check it out..

Again and again, the white line seems like never get right in their place. It still a bit messy. But honestly, it looks much better than Aya's nails.. XD

Unlike before where I just polished a half of the nails first, this time I polished my nails all with red at once. No more half part, but in all my nails. It easier than have to polished the half part only. Then I make the white line with a pen. Again, it's easier than had to use a toothpick. And put the green color for the top. After that, time to make the black dots as though like the watermelon seeds. Finished with using the top coat. Done.. :)

What makes me happy is that the black dots was almost perfectly done, even in my right hand (as you know, it's so difficult to polish with left hand)..

Nah, that's all my watermelon nails with aya. So.. What do you think? Looks like real watermelon? And which one did you choose, mine or aya's? For me, of course mine. Haha.. Well, See you again my nail fellas!
